I am an electrical engineer.  I have been a relatively successful investor.  The purpose of this blog is to provide my opinions about financial  investing.  Many people have come to me for financial advice over the years.  I always tell them to seek a fee-only financial advisor, however, friends, family, and other people I meet are curious about what I invest in, how I decide to invest.  Another case is young people starting out where a financial advisor makes little sense, however, the right choices in 401k allocation are very important.  I created this blog so my explanation is consistent, and peer-reviewed.  If you find anything that is not clear, it is probably because I am not explaining it correctly.  Also, if you spot an error in some of the formulas I use to value investments, please let me know!
